10 Body Weight Exercises If You Can't Make It To the Gym

With so many people living busy lives, it's totally normal to not always make it to the gym. If that's the case, no sweat, I get it. I want to share with you my top 10 bodyweight exercises for people who want a quick 10 minute fat torching workout that requires no equipment just mental toughness. The following exercises are to be done in a 40/20 format. That means you perform each exercise for 40 seconds and make sure you are challenging yourself. Then you rest for 20 seconds before starting the next exercise.

You repeat this sequence for all 10 exercises which totals 10 minutes. You can do this routine as many times as you like. The important thing here is to always listen to your body. If you need to take a break or modify during the 40 second work period, just do so. Setting aside 10 minutes for yourself after a long day will do wonders mentally and physically. Or, if you know you have a crazy busy day ahead, wake up 10 minutes earlier and blast this baby out. You will feel amazing afterwards and it will set the tone for the rest of the day.

3. Floor to ceiling squat 

4. Rugby sit up 

5. Speed rows

6. Spilt jumps 

7. Alternating star ups

8. Mountain climbers 

9. Pulse squats 

10. Up downs
