With fall in full swing, it’s time to dust off your secret weeknight weapon: the slow cooker. If you're looking for a on-the-go, fix it fast meal, the slow cooker is your answer. Simply set it and forget it. The idea is to dump ingredients in the morning, and come home to a cozy dinner as soon as you walk through the door.
Check out an easy recipe for BBQ chicken recipe with only 3 ingredients; 1.5 LB chicken breast 1/2 low sugar BBQ sauce 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth. That's all. Toss everything in the pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
