As our communities move toward reopening, we want to keep you updated on what we're doing to be prepared to welcome you back into the studio. As we learn more we'll be updating our policies accordingly, so always check back here for the latest.

Before we potentially open in early July, we've expanded our personal training program to give you safe, personalized training.

Additionally, we'll continue offering our livestream BURN24 workouts for those than want—or need—to continue with strict social isolation.

We were founded on personal training, and now we're getting back to our roots to provide socially-distanced one-on-one fitness.

 

PHASE 2

BACK TO BURNIN'

NEW STUDIO LAYOUT

To limit movement around the studio, each class member will have their own 36-square-foot “Deck” which includes a cardio piece, a dumbbell rack, a bottle of
disinfectant and a towel.

 

You will rotate between cardio and strength all within your Deck, thus maintaining safe distance with everyone in the class.

SCHEDULE CHANGES

To get the maximum number of members into the studios we’ll be running 24-minute classes on an adjusted schedule.

Both locations will host classes.

Keep in mind that we'll also be running virtual classes, so if you're not ready to come back yet, that's totally fine!

You can sign up beginning Sunday, July 5th at Noon!

DUMBBELL DROP-OFF

We know many of you have been enjoying using some of our dumbbells for virtual training, but as we reopen we need to collect those dumbbells.

To avoid any fees, please return the dumbbells to either the Belmont studio or Seaport studio before July 3. You can drop off the dumbbells during these times:

Belmont
M–F: 6–10 am
Seaport
M–F: 5–8am

If you are unable to return the dumbbells during this window, please let us know ASAP so we can make accommodations for you.

We anticipate reopening for in-studio classes as early as July 6th!

In preparation for reopening, we have totally redesigned our studios to be compatible with social distancing recommendations.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

When we finally welcome you back into the studio things will work a little differently. Below are some new, safety-focused changes you can expect to see.

New Deep-cleaning Process

 

Frequent, throughout cleaning.

Staff will disinfect all common areas after every class, paying special attention to machines, weights, and all high-touch surfaces. We’ll also be cleaning the studio from top to bottom throughout the week.

 

High-class high-touch areas.

After every class, we’ll disinfect door handles, light switches, sanitizing stations, lockers, bathrooms, sinks, toilets, benches, locker keys, the front desk, keyboards, computers, phones, and instructor equipment.

 

Every machine disinfected every time.

After every class, every machine in the studio will be thoroughly disinfected—even if not in use.

 

Every weight disinfected every time.

After every class, all dumbbells will be thoroughly disinfected—even if not in use.

 

Staff safety.

Staff will be strongly encouraged to wear masks.

Before you Burn

 

Staff health check.

Every staff member and instructor will have their temperature checked before their shift. When necessary, we’ll follow our elevated temperature protocol.

 

Member health check.

Where mandated by local or state governments, we’ll check the temperature of members as they enter the studio.

 

Scheduling accommodations.

Our class schedule is going to look a little different so we can accommodate more people in the studio while still adhering to social distancing policies. You can expect to see shorter classes to allow for cleaning time between. More details on this will come as we get closer to reopening. Keep in mind that even if an in-studio class is full, you can still take online classes like we’ve been offering.

 

High-touch amenities.

To limit hand-to-hand contact, we’re keeping BodyTonic closed and removing gum, bottles, and protein bars from our Seaport studio. 

 

Strict Accountability

To allow as many people as possible to burn with us, we’ll be strictly enforcing our cancellation policy. Please remember to cancel by the deadline.

Checking in

 

Assisted Check-in

From a safe distance, a member of our team will check you in on our iPad at the front.

Social distancing practices.

Our staff will work to get you in and out of studios, while maintaining social distancing practices. To help, floor markers will indicate safe distance. We ask that you avoid waiting for class in high-traffic areas, and consider waiting outside or in your car if you’re comfortable and weather permits it.

 

Personal items.

We highly recommend you only bring the necessities. 

 

Increased sanitization access.

We’ll have hand sanitizer dispensers posted throughout the studio, so pump a little on your way to and from class whenever you get the chance

You will rotate between cardio and strength all within your Deck, thus maintaining safe distance with everyone in the class.

 

A map of the new studio layout in Belmont is below. Seaport will work in the same way.

 

Specialized Small Group Training

The 2.0 area in the studio will soon be home to specialized small group training. Coming later in July!

Wipe it down.

We encourage you to wipe down the cardio piece and dumbbells in your Deck before class begins using the bottle of disinfectant and microfiber towel we provide.

Burn Nation Responsibility

 

We’ve changed a lot about how we do things to make BBR a safe place, but we need your help to make sure our policies work as effectively as possible. Let’s keep each other safe.

 

Please make sure to practice social distancing when in close, shared spaces like bathrooms. Follow the markers placed around the studio to maintain a safe distance.

 

If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the studio until you’re symptom-free and fever-free for three days.

 

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.

 

If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming into class, please stay home and stay safe. We’ll happily add the class credit to your account, and welcome you back when you’re healthy and feel comfortable coming back to the studio.

 

We’re encouraging members and staff to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs & high fives. Community is what makes us tick—but right now, this is the best way to take care of our Burnin' Fam.

 

It might be a bit overwhelming at first. But don’t worry; as soon as that countdown on the screens starts, you’ll find yourself right back into a familiar and exciting groove. We’re safer than ever before, and we’re here to give you the reprieve you need from the stresses of this time.

Always on Our Toes

We’re closely monitoring the recommendations from the state and federal government and sticking to the policies outlined by the CDC. We’ll be agile and adapt to whatever comes our way. With no way to predict what will happen, the best way we can prepare is to respond and evolve as the situation develops—with your safety top of mind.
