Rich has been one of Boston’s top personal trainers since moving here 7 years ago. Rich is a degree certified coach, and personal trainer with over 12 years of experience. He is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and most recently completed training to become a level 1 & 2 instructor in world renowned coach Martin Rooney’s training for warriors system.

Rich’s experience includes three years as a United States Army infantry team leader, where he was awarded with a commendation medal for his strong leadership skill in jungle operation training in Panama.  Following his military service, Rich attended east Carolina University majoring in exercise science. Shortly after, Rich met up with former major league baseball player Brandon Inge of the Detroit Tigers to start training. During their time together, Brandon hit career highs in runs batted in, and home runs. After his time with Brandon, Town Sports International recruited Rich to help turn around multiple locations for the Boston Sports Clubs. Rich raised sales and revenue over 100% for multiple locations and was presented an award for progressing the most personal trainers from apprentice to the master level in Boston. After 7 years working for himself and Boston Sports Clubs, Rich joined the BURNIN' team as the new Director of Fitness in February of 2015.

Rich has consulted with and implemented his programs at companies such as Kayak, Bright Horizons, Boston Sports Clubs, and Communispace to name a few. He also coached and mentored many personal trainers during his time as the fitness director of two Boston Sports Clubs. Among those trainers is our own beloved Ray Peleckas. Rich has been sought out by athletes, celebrities, companies, and most importantly anyone looking to make significant changes in their health and performance.
